Founded in 1865 and now regarded as the quintessential English hosiers and shoemakers, serving British and international men of refinement and quiet good taste, whilst also offering a full range of clothing to Eton scholars.
Although we are famous for our selection of shirts and ties we also stock blazers, sports jackets, trousers, socks, cufflinks, braces and hats. Our sister shop J Gane & Co., of 125 High Street sells the shoes to compliment our clothing range.
We are both part of the New & Lingwood group with our main outlet in Jermyn Street, London and we offer an excellent mail order service from all our branches as well as from our web-site.
Here in Eton we are the colour specialists for the College providing all 26 houses with games socks, shirts and caps along with the same for sportswear, including wall games. We stock colours for many of the old established societies such as Banana Boat Club, October Club, Rous Society and the Pistol Club.
With regards to Eton formal wear our tailcoats are still made in the traditional style using pure wool English cloth tailored by London craftsmen. Our new boys outfit list is now available on request.
